I have some students at CLU (our ELCA school) and have known a few folks who
went to Concordia U (Missouri Synod and clearly more conservative, smaller
and more limited course offerings.  Of course I'm biased against this one).


 

If you want more info on CLU and want some more info, there are grads
around, I could connect you to students there and they have local promotion
people who could talk to you about it.

 

Encourage people also to consider PLU in Tacoma.  My daughter went there and
I think it's better than CLU with a little broader cross-section of students
(CLU, being in Thousand Oaks has a lot of pretty wealthy kids, from my
perspective).  If kids can stand the cold and rainy weather of Tacoma, it
has some strengths.  I can refer you to a couple of faculty if religious
education is part of the interest your people have.

Concordia University in Irvine?

One of our church youth in looking at these institutions, thinking about
applying,
