Hi Anne.  Thanks for letting us know.  As one who was a member at Bethel wh=
en Pastor Dave was pastor, and served on his staff, I am greatly saddened b=
y this news.  He was a visionary and mentor and I will miss him.  My prayer=
s are with you as you lead this service.  Do you have an address to send ca=

I received news from Pastor David Place's family that he died this morning.=
 He was the pastor of Bethel in Cupertino for around 17 years.   His servic=
e will be in Evensville, MN this Friday.  I will be officiating.  The synod=
 will put out an official notice soon.
