*Wanted to take this opportunity to pass along info on some combined youth
events coming up.  *


*Friday night, March 17th* will find youth from our area churches gathering
at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Saratoga at 6:30 p.m. This event will be a
potluck and board game night. Please RSVP to Alyssa (copied here) if you
plan to join the group.


*March 25th we will participate in a "Walk With Compassion"* to help combat
child poverty in Kenya. We will meet at Vasona Park at the registration
tables at 9:30 a.m.

For more information and to sign up and donate, go to
http://www.walkwithcompassion.com. Click =E2=80=9CFind a walk=E2=80=9D and =
you will see the
walks listed by date. You will see our walk scheduled for March 25th.  You
are welcome to register as a team member with the team called =E2=80=9CSt. =
Luke and
Immanuel Squared=E2=80=9D or you can create your own team.



We had a nice gathering at Immanuel in Los Altos last Sunday night with 30
young people cooking meals in a "chef cook-off." It is energizing to have
the kids meet some students from other churches. Hope you can join in one
of these events or others that will be happening in the future.
