Dear colleagues in ministry,

I am writing to let you know of a change in my pastoral candidacy status.
As many of you know, I have been a pastoral candidate for several years
waiting - within a geographic restriction - for a call to which I could be
ordained. At their recent meeting the candidacy committee decided to not
allow me to continue to remain a candidate for ministry, even though I am
now able to expand my geography.



I have appreciated the collegiality, opportunities for guest preaching, and
general opportunities for shared ministry.  Since I will not be attending
any professional gatherings for a while, it is my hope that we can remain
colleagues in ministry. I am now praying and waiting for my next ministry
opportunity and seeking what God=E2=80=99s call to ministry will look like =
in my
future.



As you can expect, this is very difficult for me and I appreciate your
prayers. Feel free to get in touch with me to set up a time for coffee or
lunch. I am happy to stay in touch.
