This email=C2=A0comes as a personal and a professional request. Many of you=
 have known LaVinnia Pierson professionally and personally for many years.=
=C2=A0 She completed her M.Div. at PLTS in 2006, and has been awaiting a co=
ngregational call ever since.=C2=A0 She has had only 3 interviews since gra=
duation, but has served in interim situations in 5 plus churches, and in =
=C2=A03 of these she was specifically asked by the Bishop to help out.=C2=
=A0 Due to her status as restricted to this synod and to this general area,=
 opportunities for interviews have been few.=20



She finds herself after 6 years redoing all the approval steps she took to =
become approved for ordination 6 years ago.=C2=A0 She passed her theologica=
l review panel with flying colors, she has met with an approved psychologis=
t for her review, and in 3 weeks -- August 23rd she will meet with this syn=
od's candidacy committee for her formal interview and hopefully her reappro=
val.=20
