I am on the Word & Sacrament discipling team and a member of what we affect=
ionately call the "seattle 3"(that would be the 3 people the synod sent to =
Seattle in January for the Chatechumenate training).=C2=A0 The training in =
Oct. is using discipling team money and we are bringing Bev Piro down fron =
Seattle for the event.=C2=A0 If there were enough congregations to host a s=
eperate event, there would also be a money issue.=C2=A0 There are 4 of us d=
oing all of the planning, PR, etc for the Oct. event.=C2=A0 I will say that=
if not enough congregations respond, the event could be moved-nothing is i=
mpossible.=C2=A0 we are 'almost" willing to bend over backwards to spread t=
he good word about this process.=C2=A0 It is indeed a life changing process=
.
