I have tried everyone I could think of to cover Evening Prayer at Sunny
View this week (4pm on Thursday, Aug 4)

I am out of town this week and had someone in place but at the last minute
had a conflict.

Seems as if everyone is on vacation or otherwise occupied.

Here are the details:

The service is held in the small chapel across from the Chaplain's office.
The front desk can direct you.

Simple service - 30 minutes - liturgy is pre-printed and includes:

   - Opening litany
   - 3 hymns (you can choose or I'll have the pianist choose them) -
   announce them as you go - the group has hymnals in their seats (Bethseda
   Hymnal)
   - Scripture reading (can use one of Sunday's readings or another of your
   choice)
   - A brief homily
   - Prayers
   - Benediction

There's about 15 people who attend and a small stipend. Peggie
Bacon-McDaniel and Vivian Sanwich are volunteers who can help you
get acclimated.

Sorry about such short notice, Perhaps you can use it as part of your
sermon prep! Let me know if you are able and willing.
