*Ministers' Gathering Next Week!  Thursday at Noon*

Hello to All,

What helps you to be your best as a minister of Jesus Christ? I'm asking
for your help as we gather next Thursday, October 6th, at St. Luke. We will
meet for communion at noon and then a brown-bag lunch during which we will
have a chance to share. I find that my sinful self gets in the way of being
the healthiest pastor I can be. When I have my own outcomes in mind then it
can make what the Spirit has planned feel like an interruption. When I am
concerned about numbers it can take the focus off the individuals God has
called me to care for. Please come and share for one to two minutes what
helps you to get beyond yourself and be the healthiest minister you can be.
What are some practices that remind you that you are loved and valuable?
What moves you to serve both sacrificially and joyfully? Your input would
be a big help for me and I look forward to what you have to share with the
group. Don't forget to bring a lunch if you want to eat during the meeting.
We will have snacks and drinks available.
