 Dear Colleagues,

What do think of making Shalom camp at Mt. Cross a priority this coming
summer? The dates are July 16-20, 2017. We haven't been in a couple of
years but plan to make it this year. A few new churches would add energy
and variety. Let's keep our local Lutheran camp strong!

Here is the description from the Mount Cross site (mtcross.org):

SHALOM is a dynamic, weeklong confirmation camp made possible by a
partnership between pastors, youth workers and the Mt. Cross Staff. Campers
spend their mornings participating in faith-building talks and activities
specifically designed for confirmation students. Afternoons are spent
enjoying traditional camp activities, and evenings are filled with special
activities and worship opportunities only offered to our SHALOM campers.



Registration with a church group is required. If your camper does not
currently belong to a church group or your church is unable to send a
group, please contact the Director of Programs at program@mtcross.org
<program@mtcross.org?subject=Shalom%20Camp%20Inquiry> so that we may assist
in matching your camper with a group.


This could be a really fun week. Hope you can make it whether you bring one
youth or twenty. Your presence is needed and calued.
