I have some news which may come as a surprise to many of you: =C2=A0This pa=
st Sunday=20
I announced to my congregation that I will be resigning. =C2=A0My last Sund=
ay at=20
Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be on September 9.=20
My decision to resign is based on personal reasons and is in no way a refle=
ction=20
of my relationship with the congregation. I have in fact been very happy th=
ere=20
and will miss the ministry and the people very much.=20
At this point I am not preparing for another call. However I still consider=
 you=20
my colleagues and I still support the mission and ministry of our parish as=
=20
well as our synod and the ELCA. =C2=A0I thank you for your friendship and=
=20
collegiality which I have enjoyed over the years and which I have appreciat=
ed=20
