Great to see so many of you at synod assembly.=C2=A0 I found it refreshingl=
y well run and with great content.=20

Thanks to Bea for all her work on the organizing committee, and the fantast=
ic welcome song from the men's chorus.=C2=A0 And thanks to Jim Friedrich fo=
r his work on the workshops and the green theme.=20



Most of you know that we have 2 retirements in our midst -- Lynn Bailey, an=
d Randy Pabst.=C2=A0 I would like to invite you all to a summer BBQ and far=
ewell and celebration of their ministry amongst us on either July 12 or 13.=
=C2=A0 Would each of you PLE ASE get back to me with your availability and =
=C2=A0preference of dates.=C2=A0 This is a couples/partners party, and a po=
tluck.=C2=A0 I will be organizing the food later.=20



Don't forget First Thursday on June 7th, at Prince of Peace.=C2=A0 We will =
be discussing Saving Jesus from the Church by Robin Meyers.=C2=A0 Then note=
 that the BBQ w ill be in lieu of a First T hursday in July.=20
