Great to see so many of you at synod assembly.  I found it refreshingly wel=
l run and with great content.
Thanks to Bea for all her work on the organizing committee, and the fantast=
ic welcome song from the men's chorus.  And thanks to Jim Friedrich for his=
 work on the workshops and the green theme.

Most of you know that we have 2 retirements in our midst -- Lynn Bailey, an=
d Randy Pabst.  I would like to invite you all to a summer BBQ and farewell=
 and celebration of their ministry amongst us on either July 12 or 13.  Wou=
ld each of you PLEASE get back to me with your availability and preference =
of dates.  This is a couples/partners party, and a potluck.  I will be orga=
nizing the food later.

Don't forget First Thursday on June 7th, at Prince of Peace.  We will be di=
scussing Saving Jesus from the Church by Robin Meyers.  Then note that the =
BBQ will be in lieu of a First Thursday in July.
