Dear Colleagues:

This is just a quick apology for not showing up and attending yesterday's
meeting.  We are currently here at Bethel, two pastors short: not only are
we still waiting for an interim pastor after Randy's retirement, but now
Pr. Ken Bancroft, our Care & Visitation pastor is rendered home-bound by a
broken foot...for at least 4-6 weeks.  At the same time, we had several
deaths that require my attention and pastoral care.

Hoping that you'll understand and hoping that I'll be able to introduce and
interim pastor to you very soon, I had to back out of joining you
yesterday, but will make very attempt to attend future meetings.

Please hold the Bethel community, our church council, and myself in your
prayers.
