Hi -

I know many of our congregations have some kind of "Social Action" or
"Justice" ministry.  One of the things I'd personally like to see
emerging from the upcoming Poverty Simulation  is greater networking
between the individuals in our congregations engaged in this work.
For this to happen, it would be really helpful if we had at least
one or two people from each congregation with a heart for poverty/
homeless concerns at the event.

So please, if you know of someone in your congregation with a
passion for service, for accompaniment, for advocacy, or just
a heart for the poor and voiceless, please encourage them to
take part.

It's just one Saturday morning, but has the potential to reframe
how we serve communities in need.  Registration is free, but we
do need registration so we have an accurate headcount.  Childcare
provided.
