Volunteer Positions available for the 2012 Synod Assembly=20
The 2012 Synod Assembly will take place in our backyard =E2=80=93 in San Jo=
se=20
The dates are May 18 through May 20, 2012=20
Currently we are looking to fill the following volunteer positions:=20
1. Overall volunteer coordinator: This person will work closely with Pr. Ma=
ryann Fiene who has been the coordinator for the past assembly and has done=
such a good job that all the volunteers had a great time.=20
This person would need to spend 1-2 hrs per week during the 6 weeks before =
the assembly and then be available throughout the assembly. This person wil=
l also need good computer literacy and familiarity with spreadsheets and ta=
bles. But most important qualification is that the volunteer coordinator li=
kes people and likes working with people.=20
2. A city desk coordinator: this person would organize the staffing of a de=
sk that provides information about the City of San Jose and helps people fi=
nd their way around the city of San Jose.=20
3. Assembly Information coordinator: This person would organize the staff o=
f a desk that helps assembly goers find their way around the hotel and conv=
ention center and directs them to meetings.=20
