Hi -

As you know, the District assembly is coming on
November 9th at Advent Lutheran in Morgan Hill.
In order to facilitate sign-in, I need to know
whether any updates are needed to our conference's
listing of rostered leaders.  Please check
http://scvlp.com/Pastors/index.php carefully,
and report any necessary corrections to me.

Next Spring at Synod Assembly we will be electing
a Bishop.  Prior to January 15th, each conference
may submit up to 5 names of potential nominees.
Representatives from the Synod Nominating Committee
will be at the meeting to describe the process in
more detail, and to gather input for the update
of the synod profile.  For this reason, it is
especially important that your congregation's
voting members participate in this meeting.
